What's new to Leeds for 2022?

We love our vibrant, lively city. We adore all of our old reliable favourite shops, restaurants, bars, and hangouts. But one of the other draws of Leeds is that it's ever-changing. Sometimes it's hard to keep up with the latest in Leeds! After two difficult years, many of us are ready to look forward to a brighter future. So here are five of the top NEW things coming to Leeds in 2022!

Golaccio

Coming to George Street in early 2022, Golaccio will be a must-visit for football fans, craft beer drinkers, and particularly those who enjoy Italian football. Vintage football shirts will adorn the walls along with photos of your favourite Italian players from the 90s, whilst HD screens will show live games and old games. When you're not watching the football, you can also enjoy pool, darts, and 90s video games.

Libations Rum Distillery

Award-winning rum distillers Libations are opening their own blending house and distillery in Leeds, complete with a bar and visitor centre for an unrivalled rum experience. Founded in 2019, Libations are known and loved across the UK for their single origin spiced and pineapple-infused rums.

Meat:Stack

The real American cheeseburger joint that has taken Newcastle by storm are opening their second ever restaurant on Boar Lane in 2022. Visit at breakfast time for stacked sandwiches or pancakes, or rock up later in the day to sample one of their exquisite burgers.

Home

Many of us have fallen in love with Home since it opened in 2017, and in 2022 it will move forward and take a step of growth as it moves into a new larger premises on the former Oracle bar site.

9 East Parade

Plans to completely transform the historic 9 East Parade building have been given the go-ahead. So in 2022 we can watch the former Mayor's residence transform into a multi-use site with basement nightclub, a restaurant, roof terrace, and high-end office space, ready for opening in 2023.
